NOSOTROS EL PUEBLO CUBANO sufrimos un lento genocidio que cada dia crece. Carente de alimentos, de medicinas, sin poder dormir por la falta de electricidad, con el calor y los mosquitos. Viendo como nuestros hijos, familiares y amigos se enferman y mueren por carecer los hospitales de lo básico. Y ahora este huracán Melissa...
El nivel de desesperación de los cubanos ya pasa todo límite, mientras el gobierno no hace nada efectivo por arreglar ese caos que ha propiaciado con sus políticas totalitarias y excluyentes, que no produce ni deja producir. No les importa nada. Y genera leyes y normas que cada vez oprimen más al pueblo. Nos han robado la soberanía, la libertad y la vida.
Los cubanos no podemos por nosotros mismos quitarnos estas cadenas. Han sido 65 años de perfecionamiento de un aparato represivo de terror que paraliza. Una casta que roba para sí misma los recursos públicos y en su desprecio, se ha desatendido de esa poblacion a la que indujo a la dependencia total del gobierno.
Estamos pidiendo a los presidentes democraticos del mundo y en especial al señor Presiente de los Estados Unidos de America, Sr. Donald Trump, que repita la ayuda de 1898 y nos brinde su apoyo humanitario directo (sin pasar por el gobierno que siempre lo roba o lo vende), ayuda que debe ser la necesaria, incluída la invasión de tropas de la OEA y la ONU, o de sólo el poderoso ejército del vecino del norte, en caso de que el gobierno cubano, en su egosimo infinito politicamente motivado, se niege. USA es un pais querido por los cubanos, casa amable y solidaria de miles y miles de nosotros, ciudadanos o residentes, aunque el NO elegido gobierno de Cuba ha hecho todo lo posible porque fuera lo contrario, mintiendo y tergiversando la historia. NOSOTROS EL PUEBLO de Cuba estamos muriendo lentamente de hambre, enfermedades curables con un mínimo de recursos, y sobre todo de angustia diaria y desilusión. Ayúdenos, Presidente Trump. Su secretario de Estado, el cubano de corazon Marcos Rubio, conoce bien lo que nos esta matando, y quiénes son.
WE, THE CUBAN PEOPLE, are suffering a slow genocide that grows worse every day. We lack food and medicine, we can't sleep because of power outages, we suffer from the heat and mosquitoes. We watch our children, family, and friends die because hospitals lack basic supplies. And now, Hurricane Melissa...
The level of desperation among Cubans has reached new heights, while the government does nothing effective to fix the chaos it has created with its totalitarian and exclusionary policies, policies that neither produce nor allow others to produce. They don't care about anything. And they create laws and regulations that increasingly oppress the people. They have stolen our sovereignty, our freedom, and our lives.
We Cubans cannot break these chains on our own. For 65 years, a paralyzing and repressive apparatus of terror has been perfected. A ruling class that steals public resources for itself and, in its contempt, has neglected the population it has induced into total dependence on the government.
We are asking the democratic presidents of the world, and especially the President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump, to repeat the aid of 1898 and provide us with direct humanitarian support (without going through the government that always steals or sells it out). This aid must be all that is necessary, including an invasion by OAS and UN troops, or by the powerful military of our northern neighbor alone, should the Cuban government, in its boundless, politically motivated selfishness, refuse. The USA is a country beloved by Cubans, a friendly and supportive home to thousands upon thousands of us, citizens or residents, even though the unelected government of Cuba has done everything possible to make it otherwise, lying and distorting history. WE, THE PEOPLE of Cuba, are slowly dying of hunger, curable diseases requiring minimal resources, and above all, of daily anguish and disillusionment. Help us, President Trump. Your Secretary of State, the Cuban at heart Marco Rubio, knows well what is killing us, and who is responsible.
